DVD Orders for Tamis

As you know, I have been recording and putting up the recitals of the class for several years now and have also offered a DVD. If you would like to participate (and you are all awesome, so I'm sure you will) this is how it works:

If you would like to be video recorded I would like a donation of $5 for each song you are singing on recital night. Most of you will be singing only one song. If you are singing two songs it wil be $10. I will put these recordings on the class website.

Every song that is recorded will also be put on a DVD. If you would also like a copy of the DVD it will be $10 more. The DVD will have everyone in your class who has pitched in, not just your song. I will mail you the DVD or you can pick it up from me.

Since I will need to know before the recital starts, please bring cash or a check to week 14 class. The sooner the better. We are all hoping that everyone will pitch in so everyone can be on the class DVD and on the website.

I will be making two DVDs, one for each class. Only your class will be on your DVD. You can get one of the other class if you want for another $15.

So just to make it clear: if you are having one song recorded for the web and buying a DVD it is $15. If you are having two songs recorded for the web and buying a DVD it is $20. If you only want to be recorded to see yourself in a quicktime MP4 video on the website it is $5 per song. Anyone pitching in their $5 per song will be included on the DVD. We hope everyone will at least do this so your classmates will have you on their DVD, even if you don't want one for yourself.

It takes me a couple of months to get both classes edited since there are about 50 songs total between the two classes. You'll probably see them on the web in a few weeks, but the DVD takes a few weeks longer. I'll keep you updated via email.

Thanks!
Tamis

PS If you decide you want a DVD anytime after the recital, then it is $20 because it is a pain to just burn one DVD. I only keep a copy on my hard drive for about a year.
