To ensure you get the most enjoyment and pleasure out of your Clever Electronic Cigarette, please read through the following information carefully and strictly follow the standard operating procedures.

COMPONENTS OF THE CLEVER ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE

The cigarette body is an integrated structure consisting of stainless steel shell, lithium ion battery assembly, smart chip, program-controlled circuits, atomization chamber, and flavor cartridge. At the front of the cigarette body is the operating mode indicator light.

The Atomization Cartridge

The atomization cartridge (what looks like the filter) of a Clever Electronic Cigarette is composed of an inhaler and a liquid container. The nicotine dilution is stored in this liquid container and is free of ingredients harmful to the human body, such as tar and carcinogenic substances. The nicotine content in the cartridge is classified into high, medium, low and zero tolerances with various tastes to meet the needs of different smokers. The inhaler cartridge is for one-time use only. It should not be refilled. When it becomes empty, remove and replace it with a new cartridge.

Battery Components and Charger

The battery of the Clever Electronic Cigarette (the part that looks like paper and tobacco) uses a 3.7V special lithium ion battery and a dedicated charger which cannot be substituted with any other lithium battery or charger. The input supply voltage of the charger is AC100V~240V 50/60 HZ. Always make sure that the area where you live or visiting supports these power requirements.

USING YOUR CLEVER ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE

Step one: Remove the rubber lid cover that is on the end of the cartridge (filter.) Push the non-threaded end of the atomizer into the cartridge.

Step two: Thread the battery and atomizer/cartridge together. Make sure the cartridge is all the way on. The LCD light might flash when the connection is made. This is normal.

Step three: Place the Clever Electronic Cigarette to the lips and inhale as you would a common cigarette. The programmed-controlled circuits will be activated. The indicator in front of the cigarette body will light up immediately and you will hear the slight “Zhizhi” sound exuded by the atomizer. The sound is from fever silk atomizing the liquid. This is a normal phenomenon. The heat of the vapor is similar to that of body temperature, so it will feel like warm smoke. When inhaling ends, atomization will stop accordingly and the operating mode changes into standby.

For best results, takes 2 shorter successive slow inhalations, or one very slow long inhalation. You may end up getting the nicotine dilution in your mouth if you use too hard of a suction. Always use in a horizontal angle. Do not use vertically as this could cause liquid to flow to the mouth which may be irritating. It also causes your cartridges to not last as long. If concentrated liquid should contact your skin, wash off with water.

Once you put a cartridge and atomizer together, you should not remove cartridge and put it back on or you will break the "footprint" it creates. If you want to change flavors, you have to wait until the current cartridge is out, unless you have a second atomizer that has a different flavor cartridge. Then you can unscrew it and put the other cartridge on the battery.

A new atomizer may (or may not) have a residue gel from the testing process. This will dissipate sometime during the use of the first cartridge.

As a safety feature, if the Clever Electronic Cigarette is sucked consecutively 20 times it will stop working and the front indicator will flash for 10 seconds. It returns to normal after one minute.

The built-in micro-computer-controlled program has a self-cleaning function. When the accumulated number of suctions reaches 1,500 the indicator light will stay on for 6 seconds, which means that the micro-computer-controlled programs are cleaning the unit automatically.

Charging and Replacing the Battery

If indicator light is flashing slowly approximately 20 times or flashes continuously, or if vapor is diminished, it means that the battery may have to be recharged. Connect the power cord to the charger, then plug it into a wall outlet. Screw the battery into the charger jack. A battery will need approximately 1-2 hours to fully recharge. When the charger indicator light changes from red to green the battery is fully charged. Unscrew the battery from the charger and unplug the charger from the wall outlet. (Note for a brand new batteries only: charge 8 hours to create the full capacity "memory" for the battery. The light will turn green before the 8 hours has transpired, but do not disconnect until the full 8 hours has passed. This only needs to be done the first time it is used.)

The car charger is sold separately.

After installing a new cartridge and battery correctly, the Clever Electronic Cigarette will be in its standby mode. Replace the cartridge with a new one if the vapor and/or flavor are diminished. If not being used for an extended period of time, unscrew the atomizer/cartridge from the battery to save battery power.

The charger works normally with an AC 100V-240V 50/60Hz voltage. To reduce the risk of electric shock, charger should be unplugged from its power source before cleaning. Never use the charger outdoors or in a damp environment. Do not charge the battery near a high-temperature heat source.

The batter is shielded electromagnetic, free of electromagnetic radiation. . If the battery is found to be deformed, emitting any odor or heat, or found to have any abnormality during charging, please remove the battery from the power source immediately and remove the battery from the charger and dispose of it properly. Do not dispose of battery in garbage or landfill. Please take defective battery to an E-waste recycling center. Do not pierce the battery with any sharp objects. Do not incinerate.

The charger can only be used to charge the Clever Electronic Cigarette’s dedicated lithium ion battery. Do not try to use this charger to charge any other kind of battery.

Care of your Clever Electronic Cigarette

The Clever Electronic Cigarette is a high-tech product and its cartridges, battery, atomizer, charger, etc. are supplied by our manufacturer exclusively. The use of any undedicated components could result in malfunction or damage to your Clever Electronic Cigarette. This is a high-tech electronic product and knocking, bumping or dropping must be avoided. Do not immerse in water.

Trouble Shooting

Q: Why does the Clever Electronic Cigarette have no smoke when being used, but the indicator light and atomizer seem to be working normally?
A: This is because the cartridge is used up and needs to be replaced.

Q: When using the Electronic Cigarette, why does it stop working after indicator light flashes for several times?
A: The front indicator light flashes slowly for 20 times, indicating that the battery needs to be recharged.

Q: Why does the indicator light up and atomizer seem to work after stopping suction?
A: The Clever Electronic Cigarette may automatically clean atomizer once in a while so that it can keep the atomizer clean and working properly. If this phenomenon occurs frequently, it also could be caused by too much liquid jamming the flow channel. If this occurs, simply remove the cartridge and fling any unnecessary liquid from the atomizer. Then it should work normally.

Q: When leaving Electronic Cigarette on the table, or while doing outdoor activities with it, I notice it working by itself without me sucking on it. Why does this occur, is this dangerous?
A: The Clever Electronic Cigarette is made of extremely sensitive components. Airflow, sound, even vibration can activate the interior circuitry. Please keep your Clever Electronic Cigarette away from strong airflow, sound, and vibration when it is not being used. The Clever Electronic Cigarette uses a low-voltage soft lithium battery. Exposing the Electronic Cigarette to these outside forces can cause the battery to be used up more frequently.

Q: Why does the front indicator flash very quickly while using, then it stops working, but then resumes working normally soon after?
A: The Clever Electronic Cigarette’s interior has a protection circuit. If you continuously suck more than 20 times, it will automatically shut down the atomizer. This is about the equivalent of smoking one common cigarette. It should return to normal in about one minute.
